Everything we ordered was divine. I’ve been here numerous times, and it’s consistently delicious. My favorites are the ribs, three cup chicken, clams and any of the vegetable dishes. It’s home style Taiwanese cuisine that reminds me of my grandma’s dishes. The waitresses are sweet, and the chef is a darling. He has been cooking every meal there for decades. Each time I go there, it’s like returning home.

Simple, satisfying homestyle Taiwanese food served on dishware that looks like it came straight from your mom's house. Nothing particularly stood out, but all dishes were tasty, and they gave us a free veggie dish for no particular reason.

This is a nice spot tucked away on the outskirts of Flushing (though should flag that it is cash only). The place felt very authentic, almost to the point where you need to know what you’re looking for when ordering. Some of the menu translations weren’t entirely clear, which honestly added to the feeling that this was catering more to locals than to a broader audience. We ordered the luffa melon vegetables (si gua), three cup chicken, chef-special styled intestines, fish fillet, and an oyster pancake to share. The standout for me was actually the melon vegetables — simple, fresh, and incredibly easy to eat. The chef-special style intestines were also excellent. They had great flavor, weren’t too spicy at all, and a crowd favorite. The fish fillets and oyster pancake also felt very authentic and was a great dish to share with the table. The only item I’d probably skip next time was the three cup chicken. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked some of the depth and authenticity I was expecting. Compared to everything else we ordered, it was the most underwhelming. Overall, a solid spot for Taiwanese-style dishes and a good choice if you’re looking for something that feels a little more lo

The Stinky Tofu is my new favorite here!! The minced pork over rice was pretty good but portions are small. Not a fan of there Intestines, Oyster Thin Noodles!!! Service was pretty good, most of the staff are all Taiwanese which is cool!! Ambiance was nice!! They only take cash!!

I am so glad that a dear friend of mine recommended and brought me to this very unpretentious restaurant on Main Street, Flushing. Known for its authentic Taiwanese cuisine, this place doesn’t disappoint. Service is great with experienced servers that are attentive and friendly. To start, pickled napa cabbage and soft boiled peanuts are placed on the table. Followed by a complementary plate of sautéed cabbage in light oil. Succulent and delish. We ordered a few dishes to share and all of them were memorable! I particularly liked their shredded pork with Chinese celery. The Mapo tofu is simply full of flavor with the right amount of chili. The chicken in the clay pot is divine and full of flavors too. We also ordered the fresh clams with basil sautéed with bird’s eye chili. So good, we asked for more rice. All in all, a nice local restaurant with no frills but thrills your palette. Note: Cash only. 🤷🏽♂️
